Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to UseSwifTool (https://useswiftool.com). We provide a collection of free, browser-based productivity tools such as a resume builder, grammar checker, PDF converter, password generator, QR code generator, and word counter.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit our website, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using UseSwifTool, you agree to the practices described below.

2. Information We Collect

We do not ask for, store, or sell your personal data. UseSwifTool is built so that most of what you do happens entirely inside your own browser.

  • Tool inputs (resumes, text, PDFs, etc.) — Files and text you process with our tools are handled locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers and we have no way to read them.
  • No accounts. We do not require sign-up. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or payment information.
  • Anonymous usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically collect non-identifying technical information such as your browser type, device type, approximate region, referring page, and the pages you visit. This helps us understand which tools are useful.

3. How We Use Information

The limited information that is collected is used only to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website and its tools.
  • Understand which tools and articles are popular so we know what to build next.
  • Diagnose technical problems and prevent abuse.
  • Display relevant ads through Google AdSense (see Section 4).

We do not sell, rent, or trade any information about you to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Google AdSense & Cookies

UseSwifTool uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads on this site. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to UseSwifTool and other sites on the internet.

What this means in practice:

  • Google may use a cookie called DoubleClick DART to show ads relevant to your interests.
  • Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to measure ad performance.
  • We do not have access to or control over the cookies used by these advertisers.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

  • Visit Google Ads Settings to control how Google personalizes ads to you.
  • Visit aboutads.info/choices to opt out of third-party vendor cookies.
  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies from their settings menu.

For full details on how Google handles data from its partner sites, please review Google's Privacy & Terms.

5. Third-Party Services

To keep certain tools fast and accurate, UseSwifTool relies on a small number of trusted third-party services. Each one has its own privacy policy and we encourage you to read them.

  • LanguageTool API — used by our Grammar Checker. When you click "Check grammar", the text you typed is sent to LanguageTool's servers for analysis and the corrections are returned to your browser. LanguageTool does not require an account and states that submitted text is not stored long-term. See the LanguageTool Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense — see Section 4.
  • Hosting & CDN — pages are served via a commercial hosting platform that may log standard server information (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and performance.

All other tools (Resume Builder, PDF Converter, Word Counter, QR Generator, Password Generator) run entirely in your browser and do not transmit your data to any third party.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection laws such as the GDPR (Europe) or the CCPA (California). These typically include the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected about you.
  • Request access to or deletion of any such information.
  • Opt out of personalized advertising and tracking cookies.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because UseSwifTool does not collect personal information directly, most of these rights are exercised through your browser settings or through the third-party services listed above. You can also contact us at any time using the email below.
